Suggestions on working with Non-Violence:

  • Distribute the Pledge of Non-violence (request a copy sent by email)
  • Be a peacemaker 
  • Sponsor a workshop or one day program on one of the following:
    • Self-protection for women
    • Safe driving tips ("Stop Road Rage")
    • Ways to combat violence in the home, school, workplace
  • Present "Women of Vision" module: Spirituality of Anger 
  • Organize a monthly parish family day or evening including worship, supper or snacks, board games, cards, arts or crafts, stories
  • Create or present a curriculum for Sunday School or VBS with a focus on non-violence. (See Hands in Healing below)
