Ernest receives "Happy Pullman Award" ECW Diocesan President, Anna Lou Flynn and Jennifer Ernst, founder of Hope for Humanity, share a moment after Jennifer received the "Happy Pullman Award" at the Diocesan Council in January 2008. Jennifer was nominated for the award by her priest, Rev. Paul Johnson of Christ Church, Glen Allen, for her work in the Southern Sudan. ECW has been supportive of the work Jennifer and her husband Daryl have done in the ministry with the Boys of Sudan. Jennifer was one of several guest speakers at the ECW Annual Meeting this past October. She spoke of her continued work in the Sudan. She has played a major role in the building of a new school that has recently been opened called Hope and Resurrection Secondary School in Atiaba, Southern Sudan. THE VISION for Hope and Resurrection is to provide quality education and serve as a model school for the whole of Southern Sudan. The Rt. Rev. Peter J. Lee plans to visit the school sometime this spring. For more information click on Hope and Resurrection
